Right Ive had a real bad run of luck! Car got crashed into a grands worth of damage. Sold my sli'd GTX 275's to pay for some of the damage ( gutted ) got a 9600 GSO as a cheap rerplacement ( even more gutted ). So im hitting the plastic.

The question is im thinking of upgrading from all my SKT 775 stuff in my sig to an AMD 6 core 1055T a crosshair formula 4 and a sapphire 5770. whats your thoughts? I was thinking of adding another 5770 in a few weeks time for crossfire. All will be on windows 7 64 home premium. Im keeping my current ram as it will work fine.

Apart from the graphics card, I don't think you'll see that much benefit - why not just get a gpu and avoid going into too much debt?

See how much you can sell current computer for and then see how much the upgrade will actually cost you.

TBH, simply getting an HD5850 1GB would be the easiest option!

Was thinking along all of your advice and just getting a new gpu, DX11 compatible but then I was thinking that skt 775 is old now and ive seen some good things mentioned about these new AMD chips so I was wondering if I mad the plunge. To be fair what I looked at getting from ocuk with my free delivery was going to cost me £454 and I reckon I could get a good chunk of that back from selling my current mobo sound card and cpu. And seeing as its a new kit it will "hopefully" have a longer life span.
