What cars would you like to see?

Haven't Ford tried a sporty variant of the Ka before?

1.6 Sport KA, but that's only in the old model - was apparently very fun, despite a low bhp output.

Would like to see a new Puma.

About the 3.2 V6 RWD Mondeo ST, think how expensive it would be when a current 2.5T Mondeo FWD can easily cost £25k+ new. You'd be looking at £30k+ before options, which puts it right up there with a good 3 series.

I'd like to see the new replacement for the Alfa 149 to have a truly great hot version, and more companies to move over to turbocharging equally big engines (ala 335i).

I'd like also to see more and more companies making GT3 RS style models in their range. Like the R26R megane :)

I'd like to see more manufacturers produce cars that are actually comfortable. Too many appear to be have been dragged by BMW into the must be "sporty", or at least semi sporty. The results being cars that have suspensions that are simply not comfortable.
Linked to that are the power wars of more recent years. More powerful cars typically need bigger engines, brakes, better suspension etc. All of which add weight and is actually counter productive on both economy and fun.

New Accord-R, something along the lines of a lightened 2.4 version, 220-240bhp.

Echo a "159" GTA comment too. Essentially a 156 GTA, with more power, LSD as standard, and non-chocolate-based suspension system. Oh, a little bit more ride height too.

I would very much like for Honda to stop fannying about and build a new NSX (the production version, not their current track beast).

I'm also interested in the new Hyundai Coupe with its RWD and pretty punchy engines, just not sure that it's coming over here.

A new Fiesta ST would be something quite interesting in terms of cars that don't yet exist in some shape or form.

I'd really like to see a resurgence of Japaneses sports cars. The 90's had so many sweet cars like RX-7, Supra, proper Celica, 300ZX etc. I'd also love to see the re-appearance of the 200SX, wish the S15 was sold here or an equivalent.

I've also really wanted to see an M 7 Series, just because it would be ridiculous. I'd really love to see just how quick they could make something that massive.

Toyota making something exciting again. Supra TT, Celica GT4, MR2 Turbo all great cars.

The current line up is meh at best.

There is already a good choice when it comes to fast luxury cars, an M7 would be utterly pointless and no-body would buy it.

Could I have the same, but the steering wheel connected to the front wheels? :D

No suspension, just a couple of track rods.

But seriously, there's been rumours for some time about a RWD floor in development, and even if there isn't, I'm sure they could make a Chrysler floor handle well enough, then plant a European quality car on top, then drop the Maser V8 in the front and call it a GTAAAAAAAAAAA!

An affordable big luxury saloon that goes fast in a straight line and that is a manual. Like a 7 series with a manual gearbox.

Out of everything mentioned so far in this thread, I can see this idea being the biggest commercial disaster by far.

Haha, but yeah I want a big comfy car that is fast in a straight line and where I can use my right hand to change gears, otherwise I'd have bought something like an E38 7 series a while ago, I can afford one now, the automatic bit turns me off, it's soooo boring to drive without changing gears. This is really annoying me, if you get to the nicer powered cars like at least 6 cil, most cars ( at least here) are automatics :(. The closest thing to what I want would be a fully loaded Mondeo 2.5 ghia or something like a S60 T5 or C70 T5 in manual. I don't want something that sacrifices comfort ( ride quality) for handing though.

Buy a secondhand manual S8, tons about as they were such a successful model.
