I uploaded this of me playing him, it's nothing special but I was bored and I was chuffed I actually went for the flash kick combo after cr.lp x2 > cr.mp, usually I go for the sonic boom just to be safe but I have that link pretty consistent now so will probably go for the kick more often.


I left inputs on to see what the Sagat was doing, quite funny. :D I got a lot of double inputs but I hit the buttons once only, them Sanwa buttons are crazy sensitive.

Swear his cr.mk is better in this game, too bad you can't cancel into specials off it.



I remember some hacked version of SFII, I forgot the name now though. :(

I used to be able to do cr.lp cr. mp FK but for somereason...


I need help :(

I cant do it anymore.

Furthermore, I have been trying to do FK > FADC > Sonic Hurricane.

I can pull off the FK > FADC but not the sonic. Im not sure what Im doing wrong :(

Guiles MK is a great and nifty move, but yes unfortunately not comboable, but used for pressure play.

Just picked this up today, fighting with the 360's d-pad is terrible. I decided to order a fight pad online on wednesday only to see today that it's apparently gone out of stock, It's got one on order for me but god knows how long it's gonna take now.... :(

Originally in SF2 it was 2 seconds then it reduced to 1.5 in the later turbo nutter editions and then back to 2 in SF4.
So going back to 1.5 is not ridiculous imho, and projectile fights between shotos/sagat actually can last longer for a change if you precharge well with Guile.

Charge time is fine, it's his recovery. Charge time is 50 frames in SSFIV anyway which is 5/6 of a second.

You can see marge's XBL tag in the top corner.

Artheas, you still got SF4 installed on the PC? We should still get some sessions on sometime, until I eventually get a 360!

BTW watching that clip of Margaret using Guile vs Sagat, what is that when Sagat flashes for a split second. I've been meaning to find out but always forget, it happens half way through the clip... (edit: at 1:02)

Nice Guile play though Margaret.

Angry Scar! Powers up the next uppercut so it does SFIV damage I think! Something like that anyhow. :cool:

anyone got any tips for dudley?
mainly when playing against Shotos.
i can do the duck under the projectiles, then usually get a a shoryuken to the face before i can recover, and it seems to out prioritise the duck-punch.
 
Cmp to lpmgu for safe chip damage.

Use different strength duck to punch depending on your distance.

Jhk stuffs dp.

Fadc fireballs.

Exmgu any whipped special and most far whiffed normal.

It's a fun and surprisingly balanced match up.

Just had a good session with tony and ojste some good games ibuki is phenomenal some of the combos these 2 were pulling of against my adon really surprised me never really expected that much of ibuki.

practice the rhythm.. dont spam the jabs before hand either because that will ruin the rhythm.

mp not coming out - too fast, mp not comboing - too slow... trial and error.

also look up plinking, that might help you.
 
Did Guile's trials today on PS3 pad. My hands were gone after a couple, charging is just so difficult on a pad.

Also did Guy's trials, got up to number 20 until I started to have difficulty they weren't too bad.

Going to practise with Guile, I somehow pressed a button or something and in the game he put his sunglasses on? And then I pressed it again and he took them off. Forgot which button it was, I was trying to do flashkick and that happened.:o
