has anyone seen his live show ?

just ordered a dvd of it and been looking at the video's on you tube.

the war of the world's album has been out for 32 years now and was shocked at this

always been a fan of this album but has any younger people listened to it ?

I went to see the live show at O2 arena a couple of years ago. I was already a big fan of Jeff Wayne's effort but the live show was fantastic, well worth the effort.

My dad tried to make me listen to it when i was a lot younger but it scared the hell outta me lol!

Was considering seeing this but the ticket prices are ridiculous, even for a seat right at the back and at the top :(

Also, i found the vinyl in Brick Lane Market for 2 quid :D

Yes, went to the live show at the MEN a couple of years ago.

Always loved the original albums and the live show did not disappoint.

Excellent show and well worth the money.

watching the video's on you tube does make it look a awsome show.

how much did you pay to go and see this ?

I listened to it when i was probably 10 quite a few times when we first got a CD player as my old man bought it, don't really remember it at all though. Also remember listening to Rick Wakeman's Journey to the centre of the earth

I went to see the live show at the end of 2008 in Glasgow and it was absolutely superb...if you get the chance it's well worth seeing.

I bought the vinyl and CD when they were first released. I think it was Julie Covington's 'Forever Autumn' that sparked my interest.

I remember playing the LP in my dad's living room. I rearranged the furniture and speakers for optimum listening experience.

I've also seen the show when it was in it's first generation.

Justin Hayward's 'Forever Autumn', I think you meant.

I can't remember exactly, the tickets were quite pricey if I remember rightly. Easily one of the best live performances I've seen though... plus Jennifer Ellison :o
