I took my dad to "pistonheads Dad's day out" at the top gear track today for his birthday.

Bad weather, but AWESOME day out. I wanted to just share with you how awesome some of the motors were. Some real treats and rare cars actually being driving how they were meant to be driven. :)

I was going to ask this but didn't want to derail the thread but since you did it :D : I generally think it's to do with the pompous attitude that goes with the stereotype Apple user.

Hahah, it wasn't a brag, more of an excuse! I know how people on here love their SLR photos....more of a prewarning that I have no idea how to use a camera and they were taken on an iPhone camera.

I have a blackberry too, fyi. :o :D

Cos it's more like a gaming/app device than a phone. Like when you mention PSP stuff, you say PSP instead of handheld gaming device.

Or because we just like to let the world know how awesome we are :p

Wow, really touched a nerve by saying iPhone...have I missed a thread somewhere?

It's my first bit of apple kit other than my little nano ipod, I am shocking at using macs so left them well alone years back! :(



Anyways guys, I posted here in MOTORS about CARS. Look at the CARS pls :D

Just saying, there is definitely an Apple clique and it's generally those people who at every moment use the "Taken with my iPhone" line :D

Anyway some cool vids, looks like a great day.
 
The Viper & 360 CS sounds awesome, very nice. :)

The '328 nearly hits Lambo SV sideways' is a bit mincey, it's no where near it!

Godzilla (David Yu?) - this GTR is FAST. I have heard all the hype about this car, but when it's making progress on supercars like today's examples, was rather impressed!

What track layout do they use for this? Seen as the Top Gear track has a cross over section, which clearly wouldnt work on a trackday, lol.

Yup, against lots of mental cars. For a circle, it was so nice to see people driving the cars properly. Several guys (especially the Porsche GT3) were really hammering it out there. It was great to see the cars being utilised and see them in a different way to that of a parked up photos meet :)
