Couple of questions regarding the INI file.

What does renderaheadlimit do? I followed an .INI guide, set mine to '3' and didn't really give it a 2nd thought.

Also, I'm using a 22" monitor running a 1920x1080 res, what FOV should I set at?

it's like Draw Distance for objects, the lower the setting the less far you can see objects in the distance. Doesn't affect soldiers or vehicles, I think.

Dont think it's anything to do with draw distance - it is the number of frames the CPU renders before the GPU - i believe it affects input lag and some people have gained higher fps by setting it to zero.
 



who fancies some bfbc2 then ? gunna start our server now not been on for a while fiv or six of us joining now giz a hand all . lets have some fun :D
 
Do you hardcore players lower your graphics settings for online play or just play it maxed out?

Any ideas of any mods to make the graphics even better too? If you play with the graphics on full that is.
 
Been suffering from game freezing in main menu sometimes when load up. Requires a hard reboot of PC :(

Fine playing all other games and machine tested as stable. Just moved to ATI 5770 crossfire so wondering if it is a driver issue. Have disabled HDMI output on both cards and it seems to have stopped for now. Hoping that this was conflicting with my soundcard perhaps.

No mods but there are plenty of tweaks that get you a few more FPS. Turning Bloom off and HBAO in the settings.ini help a lot.

Looking at your sig you shouldnt have much bother running it with most settings on high and 2xAA 8x AF

I just reverted to a single 260 from a SLI setup and it actually plays it decently at 2048x1152 with 2xAA 8xAF all high details.

That said, my 260 is clocked to 771/1584/1242 which puts it basically at GTX 285 speeds.

I love SLI but my PSU is too noisy so I've decided to slowly migrate toward 5770 or 5830 CF.



So in other words, if you want more GFX then get more hardware!
 
Well with anything over 2xaa the game just grins to a halt but everything it runs totally maxed at 1680x1050.

Just the graphics ain't amazing that's all :p
