It found that my girlfriend was inadvertently sharing everything, and I found I had been opted into Facebook's website instant personalisation platform!

THE AUTOMATIC 'FIX MY PERMISSIONS' IS FLAKY - YOU SHOULD PROBABLY CLICK THE LINKS IT GIVES YOU AND FIX THEM YOURSELF.

Well it says, some of your contact information is exposed to the entire Internet, you should tweak contact settings...

Only, the only things exposed are message/add me... I kinda want those! Stupid thing.

Worked fine for me. Same result as Meghatronic, Told me my message\add me options were exposed. Which is fine. Everything else is secure.

scanning personal information...

or

scanning friends, tags, and connections information...

I've nothing special running so I conclude it doesn't work.

I thought this too, but are you sure? Just add it to your normal bookmarks and try.

I checked the code before I ran it - nothing untoward.

Ok. Are you opted out of the Website Personalisation Programme? I wasn't, and this setting was not listed under the main privacy menu.

5th one was insecure for me [letting your friends share your information]. All good now though
