And when the issues get fixed it has to go back to testing and the process starts all over again if any more issues are found. :(

Im just interested to see what theyve done to helicopter handling, took them this long to even begin to address issues brought up in the beta ffs. :mad:
 
It was a demo, not a beta.

I hate vague updates like that. I want a frigging value behind it not just 'better'. We made the handling 'better'... HOW!?

Thats all it needed….. i agree!

I actually posted the exact same thing on the official forums and had a response off the guy who created Arctic Harbour. He said recreating BF2 thro frostbite is totally not possible at this time. The amount of buildings etc each map in BF2 would have made it impossible to create using frostbite.

My argument was… well don’t create them all destructible! No response to that tho!

We are now waiting for MOH 2010 to see what that can offer.

Mark my words you’ll see your fav server’s fill up more after R8/R12 patch but in a months time it will go back if not worse to how it is now. The game is fun I’m not denying that, but it simply lacks the depth we’d expect from a BF title. (which we all expected anyway due to it being a console port)

{SAS} beers drinkers is a good server, well admin’d and has a very capable server owner. The reason that’s always full is cos Stalker has a few guys to kick start it in the morning. TFU servers can kick off at anytime, all it needs is 4 – 8 people on the server for 15 mins and it will fill, we have 37+ active BF members, I’d say about 4 – 5 still play the game… the rest are looking for new games to play.

In my personal opinion this is the first step in the death of PC FPS….. Time will tell with BF3, if they don’t give us a super version of BF2 then it proves the point that PC platform will always be an after thought.
 
Personally id like to see them be faster, turn quicker be able to roll and have a higher flight ceiling. The funny thing about this game is the ceiling seems to depend on the map, arica harbour for instance on rush the uav only seems to reach its proper height after the first objective is taken, before that it seems pretty low in the sky because the first objectives are on a raised hill and the ceiling never seemed to be adjusted for it.
 
Bored of this now really. Only playing because there's nothing else and when I do play I just run around doing stupid things because the game itself grates.

MOH seems a long way off....
 
it wouldnt be so bad if there was extras to unlock at each level after 35, maybe guns and perks, it's such a grind to get 200,000 points just for a level up with no reward for it

Think about it… if they say locked the Gol sniper to level 50 you’d be trying hard to rank up!

The bottom line is, the BFHQ rank system in BF2 was spot on!

EDIT: 270 replies needed to beat the EVE thread!
 
I ran out of unlocks and perks around level 25 (including running through all 4 classes), been a slow boring progression ever since up to where I am now at level 32. Was a fantastic game for the first 50 hours, now I'm just playing it as theres nothing else. I'm even forced to return to my console this friday for Red Dead Redemption. :(

A quick way to get more replies would be to post up more Welsh words and have us attempt to pronounce them :p

Not that I have anything against Wales or Welsh accents. I wouldn't really have any room to talk when I live in Manchester.
 
Sorry but i'm not going to advocate a ranking system that would require upwards of 300 hours invested just to get some stupid gun. That sort of elitist bs is not wanted and completely screws over newer players and people who don't aim to spend every waking moment on the game. The current system is bad enough.

i think having stuff further down the line just gives you something to aim for personally.
having said that now that im playign on the sas server (sounds liek an advert doesnt it) im really enjoying myself. the game feels much tighter on their servers which i find very strange, so now i just play for the ****s
