Lesson learned: Don't buy cheap Chinese tat from Tesco

Took me a while to work out why chinese food would cause your vacuum cleaner to catch fire....

Doh. :o

I came in to the thread expecting that Tesco's have somehow started to Tattoo their customers :p

They are cheap so you don't mind buying more than one ;)

If Dyson cleaners are so good then why does every 2nd hand shop have them lined up all the time?

Cause they are probably worth a bit of cash to your average single parent family with 17 kids living off of benefits :D

I dunno, can only speak from experience.

Exactly my thinking, I was quite confused :D Tesco Tattoos! Woo!

As for exploding vacuum cleaners, I had one the other day but it was Hoover brand and quite expensive. Hit the power button on the front and was sprayed with sparks...Good Times!!

A Dyson is the kind of hoover that women get so they can say they've:

1. Got a Dyson
2. Got the same hoover as their mother

On an unrelated note, our Dyson 'Pet hair buster' has been running for 6 months and is actually not too bad.

Dyson are good but which magazine will still not give them a best buy since they come top of the faults in customer surveys.

Miele every time if wanting to buy an expensive vacuum cleaner.

With Dyson you are really still paying £50 for the vacuum cleaner and £150 for the idea and design.
