My missus will bring home any old stray ...

The following is a purely hypothetical situation.

A person stops off to buy 2 cans of coke nearby to where a stray dog may or may not have been found. There may be a poster in the window. The shop keeper may say it was brought in by a group of kids this afternoon.

It might be asking for information about a missing dog, "a straggly looking westie" which got out YESTERDAY....

Just hypothetically, what would you do?

Keep her.

Probably not morally right, as I'd not be entitled to judge if they were fit keepers. But if the dog was in that state after leaving their owners yesterday, and after 24 hours in your keep looks as fantastic as it does in the second batch of photos, I know who she belongs with.

ant

I once found a sad looking Westie on my paper round years ago. He was just sitting in the muddy grass ditch off the side of the road (I didn't see any owner). Luckily he was collared with an address.

I got him to follow me for the rest of my round and once my bag was empty I popped him in there (head poking out) and cycled all the way to his home - owner wasn't too surprised as they hadn't noticed him missing, but at least I got a thank you!

Well done for taking care of the one you found :-)

Any update? :)

Yup, she was kidnapped by persons unknown who keep emailing us pictures of her. She appears to be leading a very hectic lifestyle...

Here you can see her using the other dog in the house as a pillow :)

Damn thats one good looking cat, are the kittens for sale?

They will be.

so is she back with the scrotes that didnt take care of her properly in the first place ?

No chance, we don't know where she came from, that sign in the shop couldn't have been for her as their dog had only been out a day.

so the people who have the dog now, did they come in your garden and take her ? :( or is she with friends / family / neighbours of yours ?

She is with complete strangers who we have no knowledge of. Who email us pictures of her every few days ...
