Well, pretty much. It's rusted so bad underneath that I refuse to drive it as it's just far too dangerous. It still has 2 months of MOT on it aswell...

It's been sat there through winter not doing anything and i've just charged up the battery and started it up and mechanically, it's fine but the brakes have seized. So I went to jack the car up to try and turn the rear wheels and the jack has just ripped apart the bottom of the car :D

It's no great loss as it was given to me for nothing.

I'd like to strip it as the engine is fine, it's only done 40,000 miles and i'm sure the clutch and gearbox are fine aswell, but I haven't got anywhere to store it :(

Not sure if it's worth just giving it to a scrapyard or sell it on Ebay as spares?

However, I now need two cars so I'm toying with the idea of selling the ST220 and getting two, semi decent-ish cars instead.

This will allow me to get something really fun for myself!

I'm hoping to get £5500 for the Mondeo so that's the budget for two cars.

Probably just gonna get a Megane Scenic for the family (Although suggestions welcome!)

So what can I get that's fun for £2000-£2500? First car that comes to my head is a Mk2 MR2 or maybe S14 200SX?
 
Same thing happened to my parents old KA, rusted to pieces uunderneath at the back

Am actually gutted. Just this morning I was looking for 2.0 engines for it cos I was thinking of stripping it and tracking it if it was structurely sound :p

130bhp in a car that weighed **** all would be fun :)

That's a great idea. They might even let me rip the engine and bits out if I can sell them!
