Using a high calibre sniper rifle i dont ever want to have to hit my target twice to disable it, fair enough if the character actually got gimped by a limb shot but they dont, if it doesnt kill them they carry on their merry way whilst u p around cocking the rifle and then trying to scope them again only to find they have been finished off by someone else

Exactly why theres 2 modes anyway and why some prefer one to the other. I Don't mind 1shot for bodyshots but when everyone and there mum is sniping it ruins the match when everyone snipes on normal its nowhere near as bad. Only thing comparable that happens on normal is if loads start gustaving.

Good for you, theres a fine line between balance and realism and 1 shotting by shooting someone in the toe with a sniper rifle left that line behind long ago. If your target is injured then you can still 1 shot on any difficulty which is fair enough, but not even having to bother aiming for the head is just stupid and the reason why HC often turns into a noobfest.

Whenever that happens its just not fun in the slightest.

Headshots are there for a reason.
So if I shot you in the heart / lung then you wouldn't die?
Hit detection is appaling. You can't deny it. ;)

If you caught someone in the knees with a Shotgun they'd collapse to the ground in agony whether it killed them or not.

Stfu with this realism ********, this is about balance and how HC too easily turns into a snipefest for no better reason than it gives 1 hit kills.

The realism argument always brings a smile.

If it's not clear this is an arcade shooter then maybe we should lobby for some plasma guns and chicken grenades.

But both modes are full of Gustav noobs who kill in 1 shot...

Snipers are easy to avoid, you just need to learn to play! ;)

Each to their own. Some prefer to only get headshot kills, i prefer my target to be incapacitated when i do what would be the equivalent or shooting them pretty much anywhere although i do grimace if i take someone down with a shin kill. HC is there to cater for people wanting something closer to a milsim and normal is a bit more arcadey. Gives people option, neither way is wrong - what is wrong is when there is evidence of a hit but no hit registering in either mode

if u have a problem getting sniped too much in HC it's cos ur running in a straight line too much and not using cover/smoke/tactics to get up close to the enemy :p
