Hi all,

Im looking at buying a new 50" plasma for my new house. I have 3 options all can be had for £649 but I dont know which one:

SAMSUNG PS50B530S2
LG 50PS3000
PANASONIC TX-P50U10B

Can anyone give me any advice on these? All seem to be similar spec, some have the panny has 400hz the LG has 600hz, will I see a difference?
I will be using it for watching SkyHD and watching HD Films from my HTPC, with the odd but of SD viewing :)

Added bonus is I can get £10 back for every goal england score in the world cup ;)

Thanks

i'd go for the Panasonic purely for the removal of any issue related to image retention/screen burn.

I have a Samsung 50" plasma and am very happy with it. The ONLY reason i chose it over a Panny was it was about half the price. It deffo isnt anywhere near half the pic quality, but it does retain static images VERY easily. (albeit never permanent)

EDIT: Enjoy your £30!

I hope its a bit more then £30! :p The only thing putting me off the panny is it being a "lower spec" one. The "higher" models have a much better panel apparently.

The rising black levels are putting me off too. It might be wise to sit tight and see of the newer models are similarly affected.
