PowerColor are putting the finishing touches on a Radeon HD 5970 Eyefinity 12 graphics card! The card takes up three PCI slots and features a total of 12 mini-DisplayPort outputs.

Wouldnt you just be better off with 3 widescreen monitors in portrait than 12 monitors?

I'd love to see that power a high end game across 12 monitors.

They're good, but not that good....

With 1920x1200 monitors the final res will be 7680x3600 (if you use 3x4 monitor layout).

definatly a corperate card. Even the 5970 could not handle running something like BC2 with a res 12 screens would give you

It would have its uses, although anything past 3-6 would be better of at buying matrox's products.

DP will be the new standard yes. I'm sure it will take along time anyway.
You wouldn't need new monitors, up until recently they've only got rid of VGA and D-sub on a lot of cards..

Seriously, how could anyone play with so many bezels in the way? Anymore than 3 screens is a complete waste.
