I loathe this whole "man bag" thing.

Yes apparently i own a few "man bags" but i'd rather carry all my stuff in a bag than in my jean pockets. How is that homo? If i'm carrying a wallet, iPod, a water bottle or anything else i need for the day, where else would i put it?

I'd rather put everything in one place and have my hands free rather than balancing everything and squashing everything in my pockets.

Seriously though i got an fcuk one for xmas it came with some body spray and other nearly manish stuff, the bag looks alright but i havent yet started receeding in the downstairs region enough to go out in public with it.

I also live in Ashford and as you're aware its hardly the height of fashion around here.

Haha small world!
keep well away from stanhope, willesborough or the town and definately dont go out after dark! lol
As long as you live in either knights park, parkfarm or any of the surrounding regions u will be fine.

Can you fit your work papers etc, lunch, keys, wallet and phone all in your pockets?

No, If I need to take work papers etc. anywhere I'll use a briefcase or a rucksack?

The man bag just doesn't fit a requirement to me. They're not big enough to be useful whilst at the same time too small to offer much benefit over pockets.

EDIT: Reading through the thread there seems to be confusion between 'man' bags and messenger bags. Messenger bags are perfectly acceptable as an alternative to rucksacks, they're still big enough to be useful and are just for people that somehow find having heavy stuff on one shoulder better than heavy stuff on two shoulders.

MAN bags are completely different, tiny little fabric things probably about the size of an A5 pad that gayboys like to put their pocketable items in.

A briefcase unless accomponied by a suit looks pompus.

Wtf is childish about a rucksack? As long as you have a proper manly rucksack its all good, not a cheap Nike or adidas school bag!

I feel naked without my rucksack I have used one for so long.

Oh... and a man bag is obviously a very gay item no matter how you dress it or how manly you think it is...

Either you man up and get a rucksack or a briefcase or you start batting for the other team and buy a man bag, start exfoliating and before long you will surely be booking your first peticure/manicure and then you will be thinking about elton john rubbing baby lotion on your silky smooth abs of steeeeel....

all faaaar too late I'm afraid :)

Those Dunlop man bags are perfect if you only have £20-30 to spend (not that you'd pay considerably more for any other kind, mind you). I have this one, although given the choice now I'd go for the one linked on the previous page as it looks marginally nicer (mainly because it's not overwhelmingly brown).

Topman stock splenty in store, so you could just pop in your nearest tomorrow or something and pick one up.
