Ive seen some questionable outfits at liquid but a man bag isnt one of them and I'm not about to create a trend.

I think I'm sold on the man bag in the link....here goes nothing.

Dont knock hythe town it's got the best canal bridge for miles :) lol

Canal bridge, hey you got the mini train my friend that beats any canal bridge!! :p

I loathe this whole "man bag" thing.

Yes apparently i own a few "man bags" but i'd rather carry all my stuff in a bag than in my jean pockets. How is that homo? If i'm carrying a wallet, iPod, a water bottle or anything else i need for the day, where else would i put it?

I'd rather put everything in one place and have my hands free rather than balancing everything and squashing everything in my pockets.

No one's saying it's gay to carry a bag, people are laughing at "man bags", which are generally called so, because they're a lot like a woman's handbag. Fact is, they're called man bags as a joke about being a woman's bag that men want to carry for some reason. Like "manliner" for men who wear eyeliner *shudder*.

If I want to carry something, I'll put it in my rucksack, all the manbags I've seen look terrible, they're big enough to be awkward while being too small to fit anything in that's bigger than an A5 pad. I carry a "Jeep" rucksack with a nice padded laptop compartment, fits all my crap in easy.

No, If I need to take work papers etc. anywhere I'll use a briefcase or a rucksack?

The man bag just doesn't fit a requirement to me. They're not big enough to be useful whilst at the same time too small to offer much benefit over pockets.

EDIT: Reading through the thread there seems to be confusion between 'man' bags and messenger bags. Messenger bags are perfectly acceptable as an alternative to rucksacks, they're still big enough to be useful and are just for people that somehow find having heavy stuff on one shoulder better than heavy stuff on two shoulders.

MAN bags are completely different, tiny little fabric things probably about the size of an A5 pad that gayboys like to put their pocketable items in.

Seconded, man bags look like simplified handbags. There's nothing wrong with a "messenger" bag, or a satchel as I know them, or a briefcase (though you'll look like a bit of a toff). Man bags are basically as much use as a pocket.

When i say "manbag", they are messenger bag size anyway, all big enough for a A4/magazine Notebook.

Though i do have a smaller Diesel one that is an odd size, after wallet, waterbottle and sunglasses case there's not much room left for anything else.

Thats a messenger bag.

So its a messenger bag.

THATS a man bag.

Messenger bags/satchels have been round for donkeys years, I used one in secondary school 10 years ago. Man bag is a more recent thing inline with metrosexual stuff, like manliner etc.

Man bags are gay. Messenger bags are rucksacks with a strap missing.

Ah right i never knew the difference between "messenger" and "man" bags. Messenger bags are where it's at! Plus, how can they possibly be gay if Jack Bauer uses one....
