However, for future reference when rounding to the nearest range you look at the number just to the right of the order you're rounding to, if that number is between 1 and 5 then you round down and if the number is 5 or greater then round up.
From your example if we were to round to the nearest ten then we would get £1320 as £20 is the next nearest ten since the number to the right of the 10 value is 6.
If we were to round to the nearest 100 then it would be £1300 as £100 is the nearest 100 since the number to the right is 1.
The question as you phrase it makes no sense so it's either wrong or a trick.
