Cheapest place to buy Ray Bans on the high street?

I bought a £7 pair of wrap-around sunglasses with silver frame/legs and green reflective lenses in an esso garage about 4 years ago, full uv protection and cat 4 lenses. They look awesome. Why pay so much?????

Wait until you go on holiday and buy them off the Jamaican on the beach with 20 hats on his head and selling water melon.

P.s they might be called Ray bens though :D

Quick question:

I'm on one of these monthly direct debit contact lens schemes, one of the benefits I get is half price glasses from my optician (D&A) would this apply to sunglasses with non prescription lenses as well? If no one knows I'll just call up and ask but maybe someone's tried it before?

Must say sunglasses are one of those things I can't rationalise spending big money on, they're so easily lost / broken.

If mine are not on my face they are in the case, no reason to drop them, lose them or put them down somewhere really.

Some people cannot be arsed with that but they generally are the people who end up losing them or breaking them :D

I like those IceBus. The arms of modern sunglasses are often very boring.

Thanks :) Yeah I really liked them being a bit different too. I also think they'll be a bit harder wearing than the thin aviator legs.

I see this as an investment, both in my eyesight and a pair of sunglasses that'll hopefully last me 5+ years. I've never lost/broken a pair of glasses or sunglasses and I don't see why these should be different!
