i7 920 or R2E Problems

if your using the stock cooler and fans then thats why your temps arer a little high for a 920 d0,you need to buy a TRUE or Noctua with High cfm fans.

Dont go any higher until you have a better heatsink and fans.

Nonooo, im currently using a Noctua NH-U12P SE2.

So what exact fans are you using?To make full use of a noctua you need to have some heavy duty fans on it to make sure its pulling/pushing enough air through.

The two fans that come with it.. I dont know the exact model of them, but they come with the heatsink.
Im using one of them, the other is sat in my drawer.
