Portraiture Photography Workshop - Bristol 23rd May

Very tempting, should I have heard of Lou O'Bedlam though? And that example photo really doesn't inspire me!
 
Just google image searching his work - appears to like backlighting (mostly from the sun) and centred tight headshots or 1/4-3/4 body shots. Also looks like he's shot Obama! Suppose if I'm to go I'd have to book today since it's this Sunday.

Yeah I've emailed already, hoping for a quick response, If I don't get one I might just turn up anyway to see if they can squeeze me in

Cool - bringing much kit? Says bring your favourite camera, tempted to just bring the D700 with a 50mm lens and SB900, I could easily end up encumbered if I bring 70-200/etc!
