First Time Install Drivers - Enclosed CD or Download before hand?

Just wondered what most people do when installing a new motherboard.

Do you use the Enclosed CD or Download all the drivers to a USB before hand?

I always make sure i have all the drivers i need on a usb stick before i start a new installation.

Same as above. The ones on the supplied disk tend to be ancient.

Just don't install the drivers until you have downloaded the new ones

the ones on the CD are for people who live in caves with no internets

they dont deserve good performance

Download the latest and install from a usb stick.

Doesn't really matter as long as you get a fully functional system. Just make sure that you keep your original driver CD, regardless of how many people tell you it's out of date and useless.

On a side note:
I've updated drivers just for the plain reason of a new version being available, and they've been buggy and caused me to go back to my previous driver. It can be difficult to get your previous driver so just make sure you have a copy of it before you update. I've found this to be the case with firmware updates more than drivers but the principle remains.
