Forza Motorsport 3 - Nurburgring Hot lap times

I managed to race against a ghost earlier. You have to select one of the leaderboard gamer tags that has the grey circle under the colum that has the little paper clip (attachment icon) that represents a ghost, not all leaderboard places has them.

How do you upload a ghost for your times? Also it says my time as 2:20 which is the first race I did. Since then I have knocked a few seconds of it but its not showing.
 
So far down in the 2.14's which puts me in the top 800 (7something) on the leaderboards. Will have a proper go and post up a time with pic (if I can sort that) later on as I need to get my pedals to stay put (ms wheel).

Doesn't using rewind invalidate the time? does with me anyway... :p

Ugh... 2:18.466 with the controller and no assists but the braking line and with manual gears. I suck! I tried the wheel but that was even worse.

It rang true so I shamelessly stole it! :D

Was racing with some of the FMUK lot last night and repeatedly got called something very similar for racing a stock AMG Merc SL65 with TC turned on.

Anyway the Evo doesn't need it. I'd be a good couple of seconds slower with the TC on.

686th on the leaderboards which puts me in the top 10%:rolleyes:

No rewinds and I've uploaded the replay to my storefront. Reckon I can crack 02:12.00 if I'm a tiny bit braver on the brakes at the first twisty and then not lift at all in the flat out bends.
 
I'm going to have to watch some ghosts to see how you're all doing it... I just end up either locking the brakes and sliding, or I have to go so slow and cautious that I crawl round all the bends.
 
As for the ghosts Von, look on the leaderboards and try to find the quickest Evo (the one we are using) that has the Ghost attachment on it. If you cant find an Evo look for a car that has the same PI or thereabouts and race that ghost. It will give you some idea.

What I did was pick a ghost that was doing 2:08 and I was constantly behind it but I could see the line he was doing and when he braked, as the lights lit up.

I think if you dont use rewind, your ghost is uploaded. I am also still baffled to why my time on the boards is not the time I am getting now. I do have photo proof.
