Anyone on here doing the GCSE English exam on Tuesday?

I'm trying to find out on someone's behalf if the exam is based on the anthology And the book "of mice and men" or just the anthology?

If you're talking about the AQA English A exam, it's 1h45m long

1h 4 way comparison (ie: anthology)
45min book essay

So it's both

They will if they don't use capitol letters at the start of their sentences; ho ho ho

There are 3 exams that are close together which are are being revised for, any revision at the moment should be biased towards the first exam hence me questioning what the content of the first exam is. As said above, GCSE English is pretty easy anyway

My eng lit on tuesday is 2hours and a half.. With WJEC

1hour on mice and men
1hour on inspector calls
30mins on unseen poetry

Actually, sometimes it tells you what to write about, no joke! And how to structure your essay.

And even, sometimes, instead of a 4 way comparison, it gives you two 2 way comparisons to do

Not trying to come across as anything here, but it's seriously a joke. I never revised and was up untill 4 the night before and got AA*.

I'm convinced you could get an A without reading the text.

Yeah, if you just search online for key themes of the book, then you just need to spit them out in the exam and that's it done

with the poems, if you know what the poem is about, very roughly, then you can blag it

Yeah man i'm sitting it tuesday.

We have 12 poems from the Anthology (4 duffy, 4 armitage, 4 pre-1914)
Of Mice and Men

Been revising it quite a bit but not much to revise other than keep reading annotations and read the book a few times!
