He's all good though...I thought it seemed odd that he carried so much speed out of the gravel - but he said he had his toe in the radiator to stop the car digging in hoping to pull it out of the spin.
 
Bah that pause thing got me, I kept on reloading the page thinking I haz buffering problems.

Yup - he reckons he'll be back up and running again in a couple of months, so it's not bothered him!
 
What do you mean he had his toe in the radiator? I can't figure that one out.
Probably a rusty floor in an old Golf like that. Probably nailed the brakes and broke through the crusty panel and ended up with his foot next to the radiator ;)

Or not :D
 
When you loose the back of a FWD the accepted best way to save it is to nail it.

Loosing the rear the other way on recovery and then nailing the barrier instead inst usually recommended though.. :0

Glad hes ok. Did well to get it out the gravel. Got some balls.
