My bedroom gets insanely hot! What can I do?

Mustard!

Or, when things cool down outside, open a window, the door, and a window in another room. You want a through draft. You could also force the issue by placing a large fan in the window (like I do), but be prepared for splattered bugs!

Ceiling fan with remote B&Q best thing I ever bought not even needed my ac much

That's what I want if I can get someone to install one for me. Hotel room in Florida had one and I often found I could turn that on and the AC off, and I'd be happy overnight.

What has your PC being water cooled got to do with anything?

Watercooled probably means overclocked, which in turn means more heat to dissipate - and it all has to go somewhere. Of course, turning the PC off results in 0W either way. Every little helps!

I have the same problem in my room.

My room isn't all that big, plus the airing cupboard is in my room, along with my computer on it can easily hit 25-30C with the window wide open.

I turn my computer off at night now which helps a little, but it still gets very hot.

The ceiling fan would dwarf my room I think! I'm thinking a little air-con unit, no idea about cost though.

This sound like some sort of riddle.

Wear less cloths.
Buy a fan.
Drink ice cold water.
Hire someone to wave a fan in your face.
or just masturbate like the other guy said.

I can't install a ceiling fan.

Well, I could probably just about do the electrics but the wiring in this place is a bit old, so I'd rather not. The bigger problem would be not destroying the ceiling while installing it. DIY SOS! :D

You haven't said what type of house you are in etc. Can you put a skylight / velux on the other side of the room to allow air flow? I did this and it made a massive difference.

Go jump in the neighbour's deep freeze. It's cheaper than a fan! Go go go!

Edit: failing that, water cool yourself.

My gaming pc is watercooled and my bedroom is small... the window is wide open and even in the winter it gets insanely hot in here.. what more can i do?

Exactly the same as my room and I have a watercooled pc... weird.

I just open a window and my door and let the breeze come through, or stick my head out the window for a bit.

Whether the PC is watercooled or not will make no difference to room temperatures! Just dangle the radiator out of the window.
