Attitude of the public to bodybuilders

Just watched the documentary always wondered where that clip came from :D It was an alright watch would be quite interested to see where the 3 people from it are now after 4yrs

Let them do what they want, they're not hurting anyone :) All the bodybuilders at the gym I go to are good people to ask for advice aswell.

You strike me as someone that knows a lot about having their prostate tickled?

Quite so as he knows jack**** about anything else.

Edit: I mean I have already warned of the dangers of tarring everybody with the same brush and he still does it ?

Ready, set... GO

Just to clarify, I have nothing against anyone in this thread, it just reminded me of this hilarious video :D

Funny comment on that youtube video.

"Im really concerned about his diet. I don't think he is getting enough fish and rice cakes."

Nothing wrong in wanting to get from being weak to strong, or getting yourself in SHAPE.. Those people typically are normal. Lets not confuse the issue here. A body builder is someone who wants to have abnormally sized muscles, he wants people to think omg that man must be so strong look at the size of him. he HAS to be steroids. Or as you all say' he's not doing it right!!! He's happy to lose some of his agility just to have bigger bulging muscles.. He likes to look at himself a lot in mirrors and probably posts pictures of himself on the internet to receive compliments about himself.. even though he hung like a party sausage.

I have a pal who use to be a bodybuilder.. One day he agreed to himself that he looked a **** and in the last 10 -15 yrs came off all the steroids and stopped trying to get huge, and eventually came down to a normal, stocky size. I hope you all come to your senses too !

rofl.
I'm bigger than the average man, smarter than the average bear and definitely not hung like a party sausage.
I, like 99.9% of members here, am completely natural.

Beig this way gives me a better understanding of bigger people and the darker side of the game.
If you have a clue then you can tell those who are on and those who haven't touched. If, like you, you are clueless about it then any man with a half decent body or elevated test level will be on steroids.

Get over yourself fella :)

I'm no Arnold or anything but I have noticed a change in peoples attitude towards me since I've bin training (about 3 years now).

Whereas mates of mates on a night out would before sometimes slip in a cheeky comment or two they now seem to think twice and kind of treat me differently, like they want to get to know me, but at the same time their scared I'll be some sort of raging moron. Once they get to know me better they find out I love a bit of fun and a laugh anyway.

I do usually tend to cover up anyway (got a nice farmers tan as evidence of this), I don't want people thinking I do it for the looks. Although thats a path I respect, I do it purely for the strength and to give me more of an advantage grappling.

I go to the gym, work out 4 times a week. But I do not believe that I am a body builder. I also play football 3 times a week (5aside and 11aside). When I see bodybuilders I don't think 'err what a loser' like someone on here as I know how much effort they put in. I don't like people who purposely try to show it off though, but what can you do?

i work out a fair bit however id say its more for a male model body (muscled, lean but not over sized) rather than size. (ill stick some more pics up at some point)

in my personal opinion i find ''real'' bodybuilding totally horrible and nasty to look at, i dont aspire to be anything like people that do it its just to extreme, past vanity and into freakishness...imo protein shakes are bit much if your not an athlete! (however thats my personal opinion before i get eaten)

However by being fit and obviously caring about how look obvious changes how people look at u.

And for me its just a confidence boost every time a girl walks past and gives u the once over or you get attention because of how you look.

liking how you look makes being confident much much easier.

However im also going to be a history teacher so im not exactly a stupid ineloquent meat head :D

and you think that's exclusive to you and your body type?
If you answer yes then you are very naive. I know men and women of all shapes and sizes who captivate members of the opposite sex even though not looking like a conventional model.

ofc not lol, however i am aware of what suites my body best, i could go and put on vastly more size however i know it wouldnt suite me. Also i could aim to loose muscle and become more lean, that also wouldnt suite me.

Just as somes girls are always going to have great curves, some are going to be a lot more lean and straight and that stuff is extremely if not impossible to change but you can work with it to look as good as you want.

Its getting urself looking the way that suites ur body shape, life style and personality rather than juicing or staving urself to look like a model or a body builder.

Maybe YOU don't but trust me, the majority of bodybuilders DO and the ones that don't, do not actually look anywhere near as big as the ones that do.

Wow a bull**** comment and an obvious comment in the same sentence!

Majority of bodybuilders Do take steroids? I'm sorry but I belong to another forum where steroid talk is allowed, And its generally frowned upon to use them. Its a cheat and\or its used when you've hit max potentional naturally. Even then amongst the people that workout the roid junkies lose respect, they dont gain it. Im guessing your comments are completely unfounded and off the back of your obvious dislike for bodybuilders.

Here are some images of professional natural bodybuiders.. AS YOU CAN SEE NONE OF THEM ARE VERY BIG and all look normal other than being excessivly cut due to diuretics and over baked tans and so on.. These are people that train all yr long for these contests and not one of them has buldging muscles.

Do a google Search for a some guys called Arthur Saxon and Eugene Sandow.

There were around well before Steroids were probably even invented.

These guys weren't Bodybuilders, The were power lifters and showmen and they were STRONG!
