I'm sat here at 10pm on Sunday night, the last few hours of the weekend before bed and then the working week starting all over again and now is really the first time I've had to sit down and play and after scouring all over for a copy of Red Dead Redemption over the weekend you would think that would be my obvious choice but then I'm also half way through Mario Galaxy which I'd really like to finish before Mario Galaxy 2 but then I look and see the £120 Fightstick I bought to hone my Super Street Fighter IV skills another game that I've barely had time to touch since it's purchase :(

All these games and such little time to play them yet when I read over these forums I see you all playing so many games and in many cases completing them in such little time

I guess this is in part just a little rant about the lack of hours in a day but also asking you lot just how on earth you find time to play all these games? Dont you have friends/girl-friends/jobs/things you need to do outside of your front room sat in front of your TV with remote in hand?

Of course it doesn't help that all these games are always released right at the same time - I had naff all to play from about February/March untill SSFIV's release.

I play when i can, at the moment that's not often. I tend to find that if i just commit myself to one game and set others aside for 'when i'm done with this' i feel a bit better about it all. When you deliberately commit yourself to one title you don't feel so bad about neglecting the others; you'll get to them one day.

I reckon it's like every other hobby/activity,if you have a real passion for it then you find the time regardless of other commitments. Weight training, running,pc building and overclocking and of course gaming are all passions of mine,I work full time and have family and social commitments but I still manage to find time for the above. It all depends on how much you really want it. Playing and completing games requires effort, put some in and stop making lame arsed excuses.:p

I play in the evenings, after my wife goes to bed - 10-12 usually, or thereabouts.
This is often true for me, plus my wife is really understanding about my gaming, and if the game is fun to watch she's often happy enough to let me play it earlier and she'll relax and watch it.

I tend to get an hour or two Sunday night after my wife has gone to bed, and a few hours on Thursdays whilst my wife's at work and my son is at the nursery.

Before having my son, almost two years ago now, I used to game for about 5 hours a day monday to friday:(

After work if I'm not too tired and on a weekend for a few hours. I've sunk 10+ hrs into RDR since yesterday for instance lol. In that time also, I've taken a car for a mot, Been for a meal out, been to the beach, been to Raby castle (1hr drive each way) been down to my mums lol and the gf has been over all weekend. I just kinda make the time if the game grips me.

Helps that the gf plays games also and has her own ps3 and uses my laptop when I'm busy.

Mondays/Saturdays usually 9-12ish.
Tues/Weds/Thurs is pretty much all day.
Friday/Sunday anytime up untill about 10pm.

I have a lot of free time.

Yeah, my wife sometimes watches me play, which I find a bit weird. She watched me play some of Batman: Arkham Asylum and thought it looked fun, even though she conceded she'd suck at it.

It's been a bit tricker since i got a job (although now I can actually afford games!) i get a few hours in the evening but mostly at the weekend. Having no girlfriend and no friends that live anywhere near me helps :p :(

I used to play most evenings and often all weekend, depending on what I felt like doing.

Now, with a young daughter, I mostly play some evenings after she's gone to bed, and for a couple of hours here-and-there at the weekend, if I can get the time.

Tends to be just on my days off. Occasionally I can find time after work, but it hasn't happened much lately.

Got a week off coming up, so I'll hopefully be making some decent progress through the pile of games I still have to finish (and in some cases, start).
