He switched from another squad near the end. I know it's not the best SS to show winningness but it's the only one I had and I didn't want to feel left out :P
 
Got my first permaban just some minutes ago..I don't even blame them as my k/d was like 70/10...but the other team was so bad it was ridiculous. I got 30 kills alone by shooting the same two snipers again and again as I was hiding in the enemy base. I could only see the top of their heads over a concrete block. BLAM-BLAM, two dead, but there must have been a medic as they were there again right away...BLAM-BLAM BLAM-BLAM BLAM-BLAM...:) I thought this is how stat-padding must feel :D
 
Had a few good games tonight, think I even managed the impossible - a positive K/D ratio! 0.71 overall now, but I do feel that since I've started playing Assault I've gotten better at the game, maybe Assault is the class for me!

Or maybe I've been lucky.
 
Seriously what sort of bs hacks is Pickleator using. Everytime we meet he always kills me by seemingly never missing a single bullet and killing me in about half the time anyone else can manage it.
 
What is it with this game and noobs whoring the helicopter gunner position? Everytime i go upto a Heli a guy is in the pilot seat, as soon as im about to get in he switches to the gunner seat...Are people that desperate for points in this turd? I don't care if im gunning or flying but it just seems people are desperate for an epeen extension.

And it seems when i do fly about in a heli more often than not my gunner is a Grade A windowlicker. I land to repair it, i get back in and find myself in the gunner seat, this tard gets the heli about a foot off the ground before ploughing it nose first into the ground and blowing it up. :rolleyes:

And seriously DICE you think the tank mg has a long enough range? My apache earlier in Atacama got chewed up by some guy at the us spawn point, id no clue where it was coming from till i sneaked along low level and swooped over their spawn. As if the Heli's aren't crippled enough by crap handling, no countermeasures, weak as hell missiles with almost no splashdamage and the almighty tracer dart. :rolleyes:

I actually don't fly heli's because I am an awful pilot, so for me its gunnery seat or nothing - however I do find it equally frustrating when you load up a chopper, ready to minigun everything to hell and back, and then the guy kamikazes it in so he can get a base rush!

Some people, like me, suck really hard at flying the heli, but still want to go in one for the gunning fun

Theres really no good pilots in this game imo due to the way the things handle, you go flying straight and you chug along quick enough, any kind of deviation from dead straight and for some reason you drop speed, altitude and become a sitting duck.

If you want to improve your kdr and have some fun mate you need to stick to the flanks and avoid buildings. Try and move forwards to an objective every chance you get. If you get bogged down near one of your own flags you will just end up getting out flanked and shot in the back. Try and keep the majority of the enemies infront of you whenever you can.

If you play hardcore and keep dying, try normal mode as it give you a better chance to find coverr when under fire. It takes a little longer to kill someone but if you choose a gun with low recoil it isnt difficult to keep all rounds on an enemy.

Oh, and both the avromat and the krinkov are superb at med/close range with the magnum ammo.

Sometimes i cant be arsed flying and prefer to gun for a change, you see a heli apaprently about to take off, then you get in and find you're the one flying. Usually i just get out and toddle of to find a tank or something, gets frustrating though.

The main issue I have with the copter is the roof height on all the maps. You just cant fly above the accurate range of most of the weapons in the game.
