2 x GTX295 Power Supply?

I would suggest going for a 850W PSU for those graphics cards. 750W should also be enough, but it will give you much less power headroom. Something like the corsair hx 850w would be a great psu to go for.

however, i would not suggest going for a second gtx 295. the performance scales pretty badly by adding another GTX 295 and in return the heat of the GPUs will climb as will the fan noise.

I assume you don't plan to add a second GTX 295 any time soon - you just want the option in the future. However, I must strongly suggest against this as by the time you need more graphics power (considering a single 295 is about as fast as a Fermi GTX 480 - that will be quite a while) much faster, quieter and energy efficient graphics cards will be out by then and buying an ancient card like the 295 then will seem like madness.

Thanks for the reply mate.
I have seen reviews of them in Quad SLi and the scaling is poor!
I only asked the question because I saw a cheap one for £200 and was going to chuck it in and see what it was like!

This, if you can find it in stock

i can vouch for that PSU :D (paid £122 elswhere) ive had my rig in sig for 2 months and done loads of bench testing / stressing ect and the dust filter i have on my FD r2 case that covers the PSU intake has never needed cleaning = the PWM fan has never needed to come on = never got hot/near its full load = 100% silent = v/nice PSU :D
