Hi guys,
Looking for some advice, looking at getting a new car soon.
Ive got 5k to spend.
Currently have a 1.2 Corsa B for my sins (was free)

Looking for something bigger, a lot faster (200bhp) or there abouts, comfy

Not a fan of VAG. Wouldnt mind JAP, and FWD, RWD, or 4x4 no preference?

Any suggestions?

Cheers

That last one has been used half as much as the 1st.

No it hasn't, it's covered half as many miles. This doesn't mean its been used for half as long, because it depends entirely on the average speed of the car over its lifetime.

Simple example: Two cars, one has an average speed over its life of 20mph the other 40mph. The first one has 50k the other has 100k.

Which has been used the less?

Yeah fair point. Ive been scouting some BMWs fox, as you are all things beemer. Could you recommend me one? Obviously completely different car to a hot hatch, but i do like the idea of a fast cruiser. 5 series etc? Really have no clue about the models or engines though.

At work all the aggriculteral machines work on hours instead of miles.
If cars worked on hours instead of miles it would be a better indicator of wear imo.

Or best of both worlds, have both.
