Bangkok - red shirt leaders surrender

What is your opinion?

My aunt lives in a Bangkok suburb, and she is relatively safe, but in essence I have to say I agree with the red shirts, the people in charge of Thailand have been corruopt for too long. And so has their way of voting.

Yeah the curfew in Bangkok was highly inconvenient, I ended up riding around on an imitation Harley Davidson motorbike taxi because everyone was rushing to get home. Huge column of smoke in the sky as Central World burned :(

Aye, Central World is for rich people, Paragon is for very rich people, hence the Aquarium. The Thai government is currently having a go at blaming a British man for the arson...

So whos in the right and whos in the wrong with all this? :o

Fair enough you can protest, but the way the red shirts did, Ie Rioting, Blocking off Hospitals and with some members being armed is just not right.

So who is the most wrong in all of this?

Thanks.

I can kind of believe it too. I can picture some drunken English skinhead ***** egging them on, calling "Yeah burn it down!!". Doesn't mean he's to blame for it though. But it wouldn't suprise me that some ****head thought it was funny. You get some real nobheads in Bangkok. That's for sure.
They treat Thailand like it's Ibiza, or some cheap spanish beach resort. :/

So whos in the right and whos in the wrong with all this? :o
Nobody. Welcome to politics.

I didn't see reports of red shirts blocking off hospitals. Seems unlikely as healthcare is one of the things they're fighting for.

and with some members being armed is just not right.
The majority were unarmed. And even those who were armed mostly had little other than slingshots.

He means when the reds said they thought they saw soldiers in the hospital and large numbers of them "investigated" it, causing considerable disruption to the hospital.

Shame the reds didn't quit while they were ahead and had the election secured. They subsequently demanded the man responsible for the april crackdown be arrested (right, like that would happen) and refused to leave. Destroyed their credibility and they ended up going home with nothing and being blamed for a lot of arson. Like a Deal or No Deal contestant turning down a £249,000 offer because they thought they could get £260,000 and walking away with nothing.
