why is f.t.w starred out ?

i think it's also the case that some people read the thread, not understanding what f.t.w means and then waste time searching google for the phrase.

phrases like Lol, LMAO or WTF are well known, lol being used mostly in txts/threads

i bet if you sent a text to someone who doesn't use PC's that much : " i played on my pc and got loads of kills f.t.w, their response would be "what the hell is f.t.w."
 
In teh wurld of the internet, there is no such thing as language barriers or slang, old speak, leet speak whatever, forums like this who try to stop the inevitable just won't work to ban words like ***, imo ofc to be honest. :P
 
How about quit with the banning of random stuff that doesn't make a difference otherwise but instead ban "Spec me unmanly item x"!

lol, what is with teh, people have problems putting the H before the E or something, or have i lost the plot :D
