I recorded it on Sky+, as it's on at 5-7am (inside the watershed) does this mean it will be edited in anyway, like the repeats usually are..?

No but it does have a painful amount of ads and the occasional message reminding you it's live from the US.

Also, there's a heart-stopping moment at the beginning where it says they're experiencing technical difficulties and a point where the sound is out of sync (though they're both fixed fairly quickly).

I think the ads were normal for Sky, I'm just spoiled with RTÉ having less ads :)

The show will probably be on Anytime fairly shortly anyways sans ads.

The problems are barely noticeable and it was only twice, it's just that the last thing you want to see having got up at five in the morning is technical difficulties.

I felt they really overcooked the end, it just went on for so damn long and what the hell was with the rocks hurtling around the place. I still reckon they should have let Oxley go with the aliens as some form of Earth emissary, would have been much better than dodgy Russian accent girl getting sucked into oblivion.
