Anyone on here doing the GCSE English exam on Tuesday?

Nah man my key poems are: On my first Sonne, Sonnet 130, My last Duchess, The Laboratory, Havisham, Anne Hathaway, Before you were mine, Stealing, Mother any distance, Homecoming, Kid and Hitcher.

On My First Sonne is a real easy poem, other than that, I'm doing Heaney and Clarke

I'm thinking of choosing lang at AS. What's it like?

My english teacher told us that it's a lot to do with stuff like linguistics, and speech, and is generally not as highly regarded as lit, he could be wrong though

Language. Its easy, as long as you can remember key words and their definitions you'll get a C or above.

Oh, and about 5 theorists and their theories.

Im under 16 , in year 10 though, got a few mates taking the exam, i just have mocks which seem easy enough.
I do have to agree with the GCSE exams being rather dull, well the 2009 ones anyway.
My physics teacher decided to teach us the A level syllabus cus he thought GCSE was pointless :/
