And dont say 70litres of liquid!

Going to Reading this year, just wondering if this will hold all my stuff?

So this includes; Clothes, Sleeping bag, food, and maybe tent?

Other stuff (Chair, camping grill and stuff like that) can be carried and getting booze from Tescos when we're there :)

Cheers,
Dan

70 litres of liq...
Oh balls.

(It'll be fine, you only need a normal school bag for a festival - I took a 70l for 7 weeks of 'backpacking' around Europe and had FAR too much stuff).

The tent usually goes outside the rucksack. If you have a camping sleeping bag and a compacting bag for it, you will be able to take about 5 days worth of clothes and food... You won't have too much room for anything else though.

As above, I took a 70l back pack when I went to Japan for 3 weeks, I had enough clothes to last me, that's including 2xchanges of clothes each day (day/going out)... and I'm a big fella, so my clothes take up a lot of space. :p

We took 60 litre rucksucks on Duke Of Edinburgh which was 3 days, and there wasn't exactly loads of room... Although we did have to take our own stove, gas cannisters, water and more food than usual

That was my worry, my clothes take up a lot of space too :p

Im only going to take a tiny amount of clothes really, apart from the obligitory boxers/socks; 2 pairs of shorts, 5/7 shirts/tshirts and two pairs of plims.

Packed WAYYY to much last year :(

Well I went around the world for 3 months with a 50L rucksack and I always had a bit of space in it. I can't see the need for a 70L one unless you are trying to smuggle a friend into the festival.

Trying to get as much stuff into it as possible, as carrying tent, sleeping bag, food beer and everything up last year was PIG!

Also buy a sack truck, I have this one and it makes life so much easier

yes it will be big enough. if you get one with external straps. Tie tent, sleeping bag and roll up matt on the outside.

Stick your beer and BBQ and charcoal on it and use small ratchet straps, not bunjies or string. You wont regret it.

My poor little Megane is strapped for space as it is, 5 people + gear in it :(
