Dont they do server maintenance every few weeks on a tuesday?

The friends list broke after the last time they did it

Yes I only got an hour in from 21:30 to 22:30 but had a good game, like you said not many people on. Just got my surround sound headphones working properly again after upgrading to Win 7 so I can actually hear the game properly now.. much better...
 
Indeed. GGs last night.

I'm about to move house and the OcUK server doesn't really seem to be getting used much anymore. As such, I'm considering dropping it for now and saving myself £32 per month. Looks like the SAS and TFU servers have quite a decent community going so I don't really imagine it'll bother people too much :)

That was a bit silly of him, I was just pulling his leg, think he's deleted me off steam i logged into to say I wasn't being serious no evil online :( whats that all about mate ? . I guess most jokes get lost in translation especially when your joking about someone's skill level.

I honestly don't think pickle was cheating, bit unfair to call the guy a cheater when he posts on here because he shot you through a smoke cloud it happens all the time.

He must have got lucky evil had been spotted by someone, lighting him up to everyone on the map like a mini orange Christmas tree that everyone and his dog will fire upon, including the 8 wookies hiding in bushes,
Pikle just got lucky maybe? fired one round at that big bright orange square and got the final blow in on evil.

The kill cam then made it look evils side like pikle just spun round took one shot and killed him with lightning reflexes , in reality he did the other people taking shots at poor evil had already took him down to 20 or less health, pikle got the killing round with one shot or two rounds, kill cam never shows this and it looks a lot like the guy who killed you spins around 360 takes a random shot and your dead, its not true mostly other people are shooting at you and you just didn't realise.

I get it every time I play most the time your get a reply on vent you'd been spotted, if there's friends on the other team, when friends you play with every night do it to you it cant be hacks just poor code.

If I ever see smoke put down and a bright orange triangle in or behind it i just fire a random gustav at it, more often than not you come away with at least one blind kill.

i remember having a few scrims against OCuk @ enemy territory many moons ago :p i remember a guy called Kilo as he used to play on our RTC* publics after ur ET servers went offline

It might pick up again after the patch, but £32 a month is way too much for my taste to keep a server going.

indeed, imo youd realy need a lot of regular faces comming on to make it feel worth while renting a server, its not worth paying that much just to have randoms comming n going
 
Yeah. When the game first came out we were regularly full but interest has dropped a little and I don't have the time to play as much as I did anymore...so the server isn't 'started off' quite so much.

As me and Link also pay 45 or so a month for a dedi to host a load of other ocuk servers it's a bit painful to be paying for this one too.

at one point years ago i had 4 enemy territory servers costing me £60 odd a month, was ok while they got used but they gradually worked they way down to 1 then 0 as people moved on, just gotta know when to let em go.
il add ur server to my browser while its still live :) im only lvl 12 though so very n00b :/
 
Very true :) The dedi at least gets used a lot and even if it didn't I need it for work related stuff... The BFBC2 server is just a waste cash atm though.

Thanks for adding it to your favourites. Hopefully it'll get a bit more use before it finally goes :)
