would their be anything i'd have to do to my 306 turbo diesel to allow it to run on veg oil?
would it be safe to put this stuff in a ford mondeo 2.0 TDCi
Yep but I did a google some time back and found a couple of threads saying that it will damage the injectors.

I have a mechanical Lucas... I take it this is a no?![]()
Used to have a filtering kit in my shed... 5p / litre from the local chippy, about £10 worth of materials to start with... used to make so much fuel I sold some to a mate with an ancient 306 XLD.
So in fact I was in profit... over 20,000 miles without buying fuel fuur de win!![]()
Who from? Unless someone were to grass him up how would anybody find out?Sounds like you'd end up with quite a large tax bill doing that?

I didn't read that post properly, I missed the bit about selling it on.I think DRZ's point is that what he was doing (selling fuel) is illegal..
There are loads of ways of making money illegally, but they do not need to be bragged about on here.
Does your car stink like a fish shop as you burn it down the road![]()
interesting stuff,
does anyone know where I can see a list of what cars are known to run from veggie oil? or what cars need what mods to run? as I know there are a lot of pitfalls like corroded pipes and blocked filders, also some cars 'appear' to run ok but then it causes some major issue..
thanks!
Can i run my 2002 passat pd130 on this ? will save me a lot of money, i do about 20k miles a year!
Having the right fuel pump is ESSENTIAL. If you've got a mechanical Bosch (or Bosch copy Zexel, etc) fine, if you've got a mechanical Lucas, Rotodiesel, etc or a modern common rail system, run for the hills.
