went on a hunt to sainsburys in Bolton last week, went up to a memeber of staff and said 'I'm looking for the mountain dew' she didnt look amused until I explained that it was a drink.
Anyway, I went along to the drinks isle where a guy was stacking the shelves, and asked him. He was so excited about it, told me he's personally trying to get the store to increase the shelf space allowed for it (currently at '8' whatever that means) and also pushing for the 2litre bottles, as they are availible to the store! the place has been sold out since that day when I bought some of the last remaining bottles
bring it on I say, 2 litre bottles will just be brilliant.

Finally tracked some down in a local BP garage. It's not a patch on the US stuff, but then it is an energy drink I suppose and it is still pretty nice in its own right.
I'll stick to driving to Aldershot to visit a store that sells crates of the real US stuff though

I went into Sainsbury's today and they didn't have any, unlike last week. The Mountain Dew price label was was slightly overlapped with a Lucozade label, and the space where the Mountain Dew was filled with Lucozade bottles. I hope they haven't stopped stocking it
That lot did cost me £20 mind
But when real Mountain Dew and peanut butter M&Ms are involved, it's definitely well worth it
Same, I can't find it anywhere in Leicester.
I've tried Oadby Sainsburys, Oadby BP, McColls, Queens Rd Sainsburys.
Where's this Powerplay shop? What else does it sell?
Powerplay is where Zavvi used to be, downstairs. Its the real imported stuff they sell but pretty sure it is like £1.90 for a 330ml can.
As said before I found some at BP garage on A512, it was about 28mile round trip for me but was defo worth it!

I need to go return a book to Waterstones tomorrow so I'll probably pop in a buy a few cans. Then compare it the UK version when Leicester finally gets some.

Funny how you spend waaay too much money on things from over here in the States, yet I spend waaay too much money on things from England (Salad cream, Cadburys fingers, lion bars etc), guess we are taking things we can get for granted and crave the things we can't have
