BT Hub Phone 2 second answer delay ?

My phone packed in so i thought I'd give the hub phone a try.

There is always a 2 second delay when answering calls, I can break dial tone straight away when calling someone.

It's just annoying when you anser the phone and you have to wait...

Is it normal for these hub phones ? Or do i need to change some settings.

I don't have a BT hub, but I do have a wireless phone and you do have to wait a second before you say hello.

My previous phone was wireless as well and there was no delay...
