I swear the latest catalysts have brought with them a major image quality improvement?

Both WOW and BC2 look much sharper than on the previous set.

is it just me imaging this or doest anyone else think so?

If you mean the 10.4, then you are imaging it :p BFC2's AA in parts (no matter what res you choose, if you know where to look) is broken.

But Not in all places. some places are fine. i notice the jaggie lines in some parts. thats on the bottom of EA's list to fix this :rolleyes:
 
i swear to god WOW looks better, in fact, find myself staring at something and its a bloody 5 year old cartoony engine :confused:

before i rebuilt and upgraded catalyst at the weekend it didnt look anywhere near as good.
 
Its quite possible, theres some issues with filtering quality on 5 series cards maybe they've finally taken some time to address it.
 
make sure the colour vibrance thing is disabled on the ATI drivers. Theres a rare bug in 10.4s that enables it automatically, making all the colours in your games look waaaaay more colourful than normal. Some people see this as an IQ improvement but its mostly down to it looking different!
