EDIT: Got myself 4 bottles. Never tried the stuff so didn't want to buy too many. They had loads on shelf though, a shame they weren't refrigerated.

I can't belive how bad that UK advert was though, I think its the worst advert ive ever seen. If they would have used these US ads they would have got more sales.
4x12 cans is 11.5kgs
Deutschepost quotes about 7Eur I think for 12kgs to Britain but I was guessing at the dimensions of such a package, would probably be more.

Esso stations have now taken stock - one on the way home last night had posters up all over the place saying £1 a bottle.
It doesn't taste the same as the US version - we've still got two distinct different drinks here.
All we wanted in the UK was the same flavour as the US version (so I could stop paying over £1 per can) but no......

Rejoice people of Leicester! Mountain dew has been found! You can get it at the Total garage on the west side of Narborough Road, just before the traffice lights at the Upperton Road crossing! Bottle are being sold for £1 special launch price.

Just to confirm, is the Total garage the one where there's two on opposite sides of Narbarough rd? Or is it the one further down in the direction of Fosse Park, which is red and says 'Bonjour' at the entrance?

Just managed to get some in Leicester (thanks crang2k and jamesbcd - I almost left as I looked in the fridge and there wasn't any there. Then I realised they had them on a shelf. There was only five left!).
I like the taste. It's different. I certainly wouldn't say it tastes like Sprite or lemonade.
I was beginning to regret only buying two bottles but then I read the label and it contains 60g of sugar per bottle! This definitely only going to be drunk ocassionaly.
