Supermarket fuel price war

Morrisons and asda are having a fuel price war and have dropped prices to 113.9 for petrol and 116.9 for diesel, good news if you're looking to fill up today.
i've just been to the hull morrisons so can confirm prices have dropped and this is nationwide.

It's not a huge difference to make it worthwhile travelling a little bit further yet, hopefully the war continues and it gets below 1.10 soon

true it's not a huge difference, but if you're near one it's cheaper than using a normal garage. luckily morrisons is just around the corner from my normal garrage.

tesco need to get in on this too, there still at 116.9.

though 3ppl don't make much difference to me when i only fill up £10-£15 a week.

That's ridiculous. It's over 120 here at the local Tesco. Prices should be the same across the country.

This started about a week ago, the Asda near me dropped to 115.9. Next day, the local Shell dropped to match. Result, just hope it keeps on dropping.

119.9 at Shell where I live lol. But if I travel 10 miles from there it's only 113.9 at the Morrisons.

The Shell im talking about near me had always matched the Asdas nearby, even the last time that the supermarkets started a price war. I think the V-Power also dropped slightly, but I'm not sure, as I dont use it.

112 petrol and 115 derv here, wars between Jet, morrisons (cheapest), Total and Sainsburys.

Apparently Spain has forced the same price everywhere unless I read it wrong somewhere.

What really gets my goat is the stupid pathetic UK insistance on adding .9 £1.15.9 lol, I'd love to ask for exactly 1 litre & ask how I pay the extra .9 :rolleyes:

Is there any reason V-Power has gone up disproportionately to normal fuel? It's gone up 10p a litre since January, and has changed from ~4p higher than normal to ~7p higher than normal.
