Car blocked whilst parked on public road

I'm supposed to be going on a road trip with friends however someone alerted me yesterday that my car looks to be "cosily" parked and I might have some issues. I've just nipped down to have a look and indeed I have a car either side of me with far too little room to get out.

I'm parked where the audi is, and behind me is a micra on the double yellows. As the Micra is on double yellows am I best phoning the non-emergency police number and asking them for advice/hopefully move the vehicle for me or should we just bounce the micra back a metre to make space. I have no idea who owns either of the cars as it is a popular place for students to park.
 
If you could get hold of a trolley jack(small Halfords type) and lift the back wheels up, it will move easily enough you could push it yourself,

To be honest I don't think my driving skills are that fantastic, if I'm by myself I'd need more than a foot to avoid bumping the bumpers but I could probably get away with it having spotters. Will see what the others want to do closer to the time. Worst case there's a smalll gym a few doors down, could always ask to see if they could pick up the micra. I parked next to the double yellows to avoid this issue :(

And damage his bumpers and leave himself open to an insurance claim? Seems like a great idea.

I'd get in their with a trolley jack if you have one, had to do this before when some stupid tart parked across my drive.
 
Contact the council, say that you are unable to move you car because it's blocked in by another car that is parked on double yellow lines. They may come and remove it. Other option, search for a local clamping company and ask if they can remove vehicles ;)

One thing you could try, with an open hand, slap the middle of the windscreen. The impact should set the alarm off it is has one that is properly set up. The alarm might bring the owners out :)
 
Get a few mates and push it out of the way. Shouldn't be too difficult even with the handbrake on....unless it's on very tight. Also assuming it's not in gear.

If the above works, push it into the middle of the road and leave it there. Plod will soon shift it and the owner will wonder where their car has gone ;)
 
we need a photo of the actual situation, OP might be being a woman and there is actually enough room to get out :p
