Gaming Headset - PC

Depends what the default is! I think it's usually stereo, but just set it and that should do ya. When you get a better sound card you can emulate 5.1 on headphones, which can be rather good in games. The X-Fi series pair fairly well with the Sennheisers I believe, but you'll need to get one with CMSS-3D for the surround effects.

Ok thanks - ill remember that if/when i decide to look for a sound card.

Headphones and a soundcard - the price to play just to hear people is rather a lot for me! so :D

Its worth it though ;)
Sound card would have course get more use as im constantly listening to music. So i guess it would be worth it more then these £75 headphones as currently the only game i will be using them on is MW2 as i said above, CoD4 would be silly as of the amount of people. Games like gta i use my xbox controler so generally speakers are fine etc :)
If you knew what some of us spend on audio you'd probably freak.
I don't even want to know ;)
Only a teen so its not like im working to earn my money! And everything i want i have to buy so yer..

Question:
Is there a easier way to use the headphones without having to constantly take out my speakers from the back of my pc and replace them with the headphones (green hole in mobo)

On my logitech z4's on the remote there are holes for headphones and mic's.

I could put the headphones in there as the remote is easy to get to. Though surely the sound would then also be lower quality?
