GTX 480 SLI - Temps

The card which gets liquid first (the card which was always hotter) is still hotter than the second card in the loop.

My crossfire set up is the same. I think it's always the one that drives the monitor that is a little warmer.

I have a couple of GTX 480's coming tomorrow, I am a bit worried as I only have 2 SLI connectors supplied with my motherboard (1 for trisli and 1 for normal SLI) If I want to leave a slot gap between the cards will the tri-SLI bridge work? both of them are not the ribbon type they are Hard circuitboard.

I'm sure that would be OK, but you'll have to use one 8x slot on that board to do that won't you?

Oh yeah i just thought about that, I guess I will just run it next to each other, let's hope the board doesn't melt!! it should be ok though souldn't it?

Do you think it will cripple the 480 if I run it in the x 8 slot?

I Can't run it in the 8x slot as my case only allows for a single slot card in that slot! I have the Coolermaster ATCS 840.

So i think I will have to watercool these babies!
