Sticking to the left hand column all the way this time :)

same on all counts

I am expecting much bigger things to come from Nogueira in the UFC than a victory over Cane, after all this is a guy who beat both Overeem (none hulkified) and Henderson.

Also took Shogun to a hard fought decision in what is widely regarded to be one of the best MMA fights of all time.

Shogun-Little Nog 2 anyone?

Carwin is going to dominate that fight:D. I think Lesnar will underestimate him.
I thought Carwin looked very iffy against Gabriel Gonzaga. He was fortunate to land the KO right because up until that point he was being dominated and had already had wobbly legs from some nice punches.

Looking forward to 114, not sure who I want to win out of Rampage and Evans, and Bisping needs to put in a good performance.

You don't think hes learned from that?

Also Gonzaga has some pretty good standup, maybe not as powerful as Lesnar but definately far more technical in the standup.

I don't think Brock is going to want to stand with Carwin for long.

If Gonzaga could take a punch I think he could be a top 5 fighter, unforunately much like Andre Arlovski he has a glass jaw.

Can't wait for Carwin vs Lesnar, I think Lesnar will win as long as he isn't foolish enough to stand with Carwin for to long as the inevitable big right hand will land, and Carwin can put away anyone with it.

Lesnar is sinificantly bigger and also has the better wrestling pedigree so I imagine he'll be able to take Carwin down. One thing to consider is we haven't seen Carwin or Lesnar fight another wrestler though, unless you count Couture even though he was a good 45lb lighter than Lesnar, so it might just be a stand up fight if Lesnar can't get Shane down, which I'd expect Carwin to win.

Carwins hands are massive, but i think brocks are bigger isnt his gloves xxxl or something silly like that?

No, Carwin's are bigger. I don't think anyone else in MMA has hands as big as his, they're even bigger than Lesnar's. Quite scary really.

Completely forgot about that. It may well happen, but not yet, there are too many people higher up the pecking order at the moment, although a stellar PPV showing at the weekend wouldn't do him any harm.

Gonzaga has really strong stand-up, both with his hands and his feet. Yes he was dominated by Dos Santos, but I'm not surprised he was able to exchange successfully for a period of time against Carwin. It was a good test for Carwin, he came out of it and was a better fighter because of it.

As for Brock not wanting to stand, I'm not sure, he guy has an ego and will want to prove some people wrong. On top of that Carwin is a top class wrestler, he was NCAA Division II National Champion (and runner up prior to that), and although Lesnar was more successful (two time All-American), it shows that Carwin really is no joke at the ground game either, it's just that he's an absolute monster when standing.

Wrestlers aren't clever off their backs, it's not natural for them, and it will be a massive swing in the contest between Carwin and Lesnar, whoever gets on top is more than capable of ending it in one-round (although Lesnar didn't against Mir.)

There is very little in it between Carwin and Lesnar. Lesnar is slightly taller (an inch or two) and they are both 265 pounders.

There is a very noticeable difference between them, closer to huge then very little. Brock has to cut a significant amount of weight to hit 265lbs, I would bet Carwin has to cut very little if any.

If you've got a lot of spare time on your hands here is an 85 page thread regarding Carwins height, or lack of.

wasnt carwin listed at same size/taller than Mir? But when they were called into center of the cage you could see Mir was about 2 inches taller.

Carwin used to be listed on the UFC website as 6ft5! But yeah, Mir is about 6ft2, Carwin about 6ft and Brock is about 6ft3.

There used to be a big joke going round on the Sherdog forums about Carwin and his height/weight, people claiming he was actually 6ft8, 350lbs and had a 7xl glove, but for the weighins he cut 7 inches, 100lbs (he used to weigh in at around 250) and cut his hand size by 4xl. Another thing was people where saying that Carwin was so good at cutting he cut 15lbs more than the HW limit just for ****s and giggles.

Did you see Arlovski's fight with Giant Silva at the last Strikeforce event? He ate some huge shots and wasn't stunned.

I agree that he doesn't have Mark Hunt's iron chin (neither does Mark Hunt anymore for that matter) but his unflattering moniker of "Glassjawski" is undeserved.

Arlovski has been stopped 6 times in his 8 losses, he can't take a decent shot. There aren't many fighters who have been stopped more times.

Cannot wait for this fight (or Black on Black crime as Page dubbed it lol.)

Definitely on Team Rampage but I can't tell what kind of Rampage is going to be in there. That said, from the Prime Time shows, it looks like Page' is focused (to say the very least!)

I think Rashad is a decent fighter and to his credit, I think he's a good all-rounder but I'm hoping Rampage is on his game and literally knocks Rashad into another dimension!

cant wait for this, i hope rampage slaughters evans, i like rampage as a person aswell as a fighter, im unsure about bisbing, will be supporting him still though.
