Mountain Dew

Rejoice people of Leicester! Mountain dew has been found! You can get it at the Total garage on the west side of Narborough Road, just before the traffice lights at the Upperton Road crossing! Bottle are being sold for £1 special launch price.

The one right next to Upperton road, opposite Cyprus Kebab/Video Box. :)

Legends! Thats a lot closer than my 28m round trip I made a few weeks back. Nice find :D

'll be off to get some tomorrow. When I was in the UK i never got to try the stuff but they sell it here fortunately (the original, not energy)

Selling here for just over a pound a bottle(2L) at the current exchange so I guess ill get one of those. I'll post pics :D

I'm drinking my second of the day. Diabetes incoming!

Seriously, however, I'll consider it an occasional treat. Especially at the non-promotional price.

I do hope there is going to be a diet version of the UK MD.
US Diet Moutain Dew is lovely - it's the only version I drink.
Obviously no sugar content but it still tastes perfect.

With the UK version being an "Energy Drink" it is of course full of sugar.
If they can remove the word energy and release a diet version I'm there.
If not then I'll have to stay with the US stuff.

tbh my opinion is that sugar is better than aspartame.

Vile, vile stuff. Not a touch on the american, nor any of the other countries (I've had it from Poland and some Spanish speaking company too)

The taste doesn't even hint at being like the original, plus it's over priced.

Oh well, glad my dear ol' mama bought me a case of the good stuff for my birthday. :)

Passed a Total garage last night and thought I would see what the hype is about.
Thoroughly disappointed, I thought it might a new 'taste' as in when you first try Cream Soda or Root Beer, but sadly it was nothing!

Did find out that the flat I stay in Manchester whilst working is about 2 miles away from one of the largest UK American Sweets/Drink shops, and you can pop in instead of using the postage.

Might try some Diet Root Beer and Diet Mountain Dew from the States now.
