HAve my new build since last saturday.Very happy with it except my Gigabyte X58A-UD5 mobo. These 2 things happen pretty often:

1)Sometimes when starting up you have the Gigabyte screen.Well that's all i will see sometimes.Del.,Tab or whatever doesn't work either so it freezes on start up.Powering down or reset the computer don't work either,so i need to cut the power to the pc when still active, when i restart then it works as it supposed to:mad::confused::eek:

2)When coming out of hibernation my Realtek Config thingie goes berzerk...The program pops up and keeps on flashing...I need to pull out a plug from my headset and put it back in to make it stop. This also randomly happens when windows just has started up?

Do i need the realtek config thingie anyway?I mean, will i still have sound when i disable that?
Is there a way to stop my pc from going in hibernation?I have Windows 7.

not sure, need to look it up.Pc is only put together on Friday last week so i guess it's the last one.

Even if it's not the latest one,do those trouble only come from an older Bios?

I don't use the realtek software and it works fine.

Go to control panel-system and security-power options and turn sleep off to stop it hibernating.

Mm,noticed something:The weird Realtek config behaviour mostly happens when i start up pc for second time.Let's say when i come from work i start up pc:No problems, when i use pc again the same day and it was off,the problem starts...
