am seriously tempted to get another 4890 to do this, anyone on here running 4890cf?

How does it run the game? Any issues? How is the scaling?

Ideally i'd like to run it max dx10 hboa on aax4 afx16 - if it could run 8xaa that would be a bonus as well - assuming aa is fixed in the next patch

Running an 750 at 4ghz.

thanks

Dave

I play with a C2Q 9550 @ 3.5GHz and a slightly overclocked 4870 1gb @ 1920 x 1200 using everything on high, 16af and 2aa and it plays fine. I would have thought the extra speed on your cpu and slightly better graphics card (dunno?) would have given the edge for using 4aa.

They might have, but due to idle power requirements, have been cut off by their electric company for the sake of the environment :D

But they will eat through anything and is on par with a 5970.

Yeah I'm running BC2 on 4890 cf. Smooth at 1900x1200 with everything on max. Slows down when there is a lot of smoke and explosions onscreen at the same time.

I also get a weird thing where clumps of grass appear in odd places. I see that is mentioned in the release notes on the 10.5 cats so hopefully a fix soon although it's not a big problem.

Considering what you pay for a 4890 cf set up (220 quid in my case) it's a massive bargain.
