Anyone else feeling a bit sad?

My time at college have been the best two years of my life. I wish we could just stay there forever.

Honestly, there has never been a time when I've thought "What a crappy day" or "Cant wait till the weekend". It's just been complete and utter awesomeness, every single minute of it.

I'm just a little down as I don't think I'll ever be in an atmosphere where so much fun/laughter is always so sustained and guaranteed.

So anyway, how has your time at college been, etc...

It's been fun, although motivation has been hard to come by as of late. Had our leavers ball last night (before exams... :/) and then had our signing off sorta day today, which was very hungover but really nice. Had a free BBQ and stuff and just generally said goodbye and thanks to all our teachers, who have been for the most part, fantastic.

I can't wait to leave.

Not because I don't like the place, but I want to move on already, and better myself more and complete a degree!

Still have a year left though, unfortunately!

Oh come on, you have a whole life of getting up very early and getting back very late while spending your day at something boring and repetitive for barely enough money to rent a studio flat. Why would you miss college?!

I had fun then but having more fun at work these days. I work with some hilarious guys and 90% of my time at work is a ball. We still get all our work done but I'm just glad I get paid to hang with my some of my mates.

I felt the same mate when I also left college in 2007. Though I felt more sad and it was even harder when I finished school year 11, 2 years earlier as I had grown up and went to school with most of the group of friends I had and a lot of them stayed on to for sixth form but me & others left for college. I loved college too as I was studying what I wanted to do and I thoroughly enjoyed everyday of it, but most of all I was sad to leave as I got on with all of my lecturers and college mates very well & they were great people. I still keep in touch with most of my college mates and I even bumped into one of my old lecturers 6 month's ago when I dropped my GF off at college (she goes to the same one as I did) and it was great to catch up on things. Life moves on anyway and I'm glad as I managed to get straight into a full time job :)

While I was at school & college I never thought it was true at the time, but school & college days (uni too you could say!) are the best days of your life.

didn't miss college... because uni was 10x better!!! oh how I miss uni and bumming around every day just drinking/playing pro evo/sleeping/football etc. rinse and repeat x 7 = The perfect week!

And you only have to do any real work for a couple of hardcore weeks throughout the year ;)

I can't help but feel sorry for people that remember the times of uni, college etc as being the best times of their life.

Ohh how i feel dearly sorry for you, were you a bit of a hermit at uni with no friends? No matter how you look at it, 3-4 years of paid holiday basically while getting a degree out of it, what could possibly better it!
